Default problem sending emails via Lycos

    Hi all

Question arising out of e-mails from my brother to our addresses via Lycos.

I have 4 mailboxes here. Incoming mail is filtered to the correct mailbox using message rules. No problem there.

My brother has been sending "test messages" from his brand new Dell computer to each of the adresses/accounts here. They all work fine except for one. Unfortunately, my one. When he sends to oddjob@[domain].co.uk his e-mail program refuses to send it. If he uses any other account name at all (genuine or even just a bunch of random characters@[domain].co.uk) the test message arrives here fine.

By the way, this can't be anything to do with the major IT problems I've just gone through. Everyone else can send to me just fine using my usual name. I've been sucessfully receiving e-mails by the dozen since I got back online.

We're both a bit mystified. Thoughts anyone?

    Thanks for the input.

    OJ

I'll take that as a "no" then!
