Audio and RAID-controller
I've had this problem for quite some time now, so I sincerely hope you will want to help.
I have no sound on my computer, and in WinXP's Device Manager, it says that i miss a raid-controller and audiodriver. I'm using an ASUS P4S800D-X motherboard, onto which audio is integrated. I do, however, not know what the raid-controller is.
I've tried to download the audiodrivers, but these did not fix the problem. In the CMOS, the onboard audio seems to be activated. Neither windows nor any other place online I've come across seems to have a usable driver for either of these two issues. I hope you may have an idea.
