    Default mscoree.dll

A friend of mine living in another State has used Norton System Works 2005 and ran the One Button Checkup. It was running the Program Intergrity scan and reported the following.
    Missing program files:
    mscoree.dll (this showed up twice)
    gapi32.dll

Where can these two dll files be found?

When found, where should they be put - in the computer?

    Thanks,
    OK Bob

Go here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl....shtml?mscoree for the mscoree.dll and here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...s.shtml?gapi32 for the gapi32.dll . Download both these dlls to a file (create a new file and remember where it is) then unzip them with the zip program you have (you need not use their ExpressZip). After opening the zip file (save the opened zip to the same folder) copy the 2 dlls and go to Windows Explorer (or My Computer) and open C:\ drive, scroll down to Windows and open that file. In C:\Windows look for System32 (if using an older version of windows, open system folder) .. open that file and paste the dlls there. Shut windows down and reboot .. that's it. Keep us posted.
