    Default Toshiba SP4600 screen resolution

Hoping someone can help with this irritating problem.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 laptop. I installed a clean version of Windows 2000 on the machine and now I have a small screen. I.e. the display area does not fill the physical size of the laptop's screen.

    Things I have tried:-
    - looking for a specific display driver. I found a file called t820vidx.exe on a website, installed the driver. But using the Device Manager, I can see that this driver is not installed properly. The laptop is using the default VGA driver that is supplied with Windows.

    - when booting the laptop, I have tried to see if there are any BIOS options that I can change, but no luck.

    - Googled for a manual to see if there is some combination of keys that will switch screen modes. No luck...

Please help! Before the thing goes in the skip..

That's where I got the driver that doesn't work! I tried a couple of the display drivers to no avail.
