    Default CONVERT STREAM INTO VIDEO

I downloaded a video which is about 1 h and 30 minutes long.
I saved on my hard drive and burned to a dvd disk.
It works fine on my computer but when I insert disk into dvd player on
my TV then it doesn't play. There is a message "wrong media format".
I think that vedio which I have saved is made for Internet maybe in STREAM format.
How can I change format so that I can burnet to a disk and view it on my
dvd player attached to my TV.
My dvd player is a Sony and it should play all types of madia.

    Thank You all

What program did you use to create the DVD? What format did you create the DVD in? What is the exact model of your DVD-player? What type of disc did you use (DVD+R, DVD-RW, etc.). That should help us begin to diagnose your problem

download this program its called TMPGEnc-2.521.58.169-Free, if your video is in wmv or any format , you can convert it to mpeg and then burn it using your disk burning software and play it in your player

If you just created a data disc, and copied the MPG to it, most players will not read such a disc (in fact, I don't know of any that will). You will need to actually create a DVD-VIDEO disc, using a program such as Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator, or Nero Burning ROM. Or, you can try creating a VCD or SVCD using those programs as well (using cheap CD's, but with less data capacity). However, not all players support these types of CD's. Also, not all players support all DVD disc types (DVD-R, DVD+RW, etc.). Search here http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers for your particular model, to see exactly which types of discs it supports!

i think that program is Sonic Record Now, i think it'd be better if you get this program called InterVideo WinDVD Creator , start the program and select a project add the video which you want to archive to the dvd disk, and burn , and your dvd player will definately play it
