    Default Kids on the computer

I recently created a seperate logon on my Win 98 PC for my ten year old grandson. What I want to do is make sure he can't go to bad web sites and not let him have full access to everything on my computer. When I logon his name his desktop is identical to mine. How do I customize his desktop without changing mine and how can I restrict his web surfing?

Normally a new user starts with a default desktop. A lot of your programs are shared so thier icons will show up but not all. Has this user name been used before? You might try deleting it and using a different one. Be sure to restrict user rights. BOL littlemike

With regard to the web surfing you might want to click on link 1. Read the details and user opinions. It could be what you need and it's freeware.
Also have a look at link 2. Just the usual H2G good advice.
