Virus lies
I emailed an access database to someone but he said he can't open it because his computer says there is a virus on it. I ran a virus check and it says it is clean. I have a good anti virus programme and i update it regularly. My computer has just been given its yearly health check by a professional and i am sure he would have found a virus if it existed.

Anti virus programs can look at things differently. If they want what ever you send, they have to turn off their A/V.
Just because your PC "just" had its annual service by no way means that it is clean. Getting a virus does not take long, just a fraction of a second can do it.
Cheers

Did this database contain any macros. The recipient's scanner may see that as a virus.
