    Default Firefox...Error 623 ??

I just downloaded Firefox to my computer (Windows 2000). When I type in a web address an error message pops up:

    Cannot load dialog.
Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection.

    any suggestions?

Did you have dialup before you got DSL? Check something for me please, click Tools, Internet Options, Connections, Is never dial a connection selected? If not select it and click Ok. Let us know if this helps.
