AVG UpDate

Hello
am i thE only on e who connot update avg tonight?
it keeps saying update needed and then the update cannot be found on this server
my mum tried and it is the same

I have had problems off and on with auto update. You can do a manual update as follows:
Right click on the AVG icon in the lower right of screen
Click on "AVG Free online services"
On the AVG home page, click on "get AVG update" (left side of screen)
Click on the update file (it comes as a bin file)
Save it where you can find it
After it downloads, you must put it into a folder, I created a folder named "AVG updates"
Now start the AVG program
Click on "control center"
Click on "update manager", then "properties"
Uncheck the box next to "don't ask for update source", click "apply" and "OK"
Click on "update" and pick folder as your source
Navigate to the correct folder and it will update.

Automatic is easier, but it can be done Charlie

i,m sorry i did not reply earlier but i posted the qwestion and then we had a power cut/ thank you for the replies now i can up date it ok

to grim thank you and I will stay withh the automatice bit or things are to much for me to do
