    Default Word 97 french language

Dunno if anyone can help here. I wanted to type in French in word 97 but can’t for some reason even though I’ve set French as the default language. By French, I mean applying the accents above certain letters. Any ideas pleeaasseee.

Hallo Vambo - Try this. It's not from Word 97 but it may still work. To clarify a little. You carry out the required keystroke(s) and then type the letter as you normally would. Another option may be to click 'Insert' on the toolbar and then 'Symbol' and choose the letter from there, complete with accent. Regards
