    Default Problem with my pc time!!!!

    Hi to everyone!!!

    i have a little issue with my pc time, i changed the motherboard battery, and reset it either, and it's still showing a wrong time, can somebody help me on it please

    Right click on the time (lower right of screen). Click on adjust date/time. Reset to correct settings, click on apply. Charlie

    i did it, but it's still switching the time to Mon 23 1999.

    I just restarted the computer and it's showing the right time let's see if it works.

    the samething, it changed to mon 23 1999.

    Are you connected to a network? If so, the time on the server is probably set wrong.

    Are you sure the new mobo battery was good. Problems with time setting is usually a sign of a bad cmos battery. Charlie

    1.) Make sure Time Zone is set correct.

    2.) Turn internet time sync OFF

    3.) Set the time and click OK


    I once thought I had a dead battery but it turned out the internet time sync was on with the wrong time zone.
