Default Making a Windows 2000 computer wireless

I bought a D-Link wireless router so I could connect two computers to the Internet. I need to know how I can tell if my Dell with Windows 2000 has a PCI slot and if it does all I need to purchase is a PCI Adaptor for that computer?

I am sure the PC does, the question is are any of them empty. Only really one way to tell, is to open the case.

I would suggest that you buy a D-Link wireless card since you have a D-link router. They will tend to be set to same default, so they should talk to each other right out of the box. Also, if there is a problem, nobody can pass the buck to the other guy. charlie
