Default After Installing SP2, my printer won't print a webpage!

You guys helped me before, and I'm hoping you can help me again.

After installing Service Pack 2, I now have found that I cannot print from my browser. The printer was working fine before the installation, and it also works okay when I print from Word, or just trying to print from a saved graphic on my desktop. But when I select Print from my browser to try to print a webpage, nothing happens!

I have an HP Deskjet 6840 printer, and I use Internet Explorer on Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Try going to HP and downloading the latest driver for your printer http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...385458&dlc=en&

Thanks for the suggestion, but I ended up just removing Service Pack 2.

I found out that there was a conflict with the Windows Firewall that comes with SP2, which was not even allowing the Print box to open up in my browser.

So, after deleting SP2, I could print again with no problems.

    Thanks again!
