Well from what I understand from the microsoft license, if you know anyone with a windows 98 Cd you can make a copy of that BUT you'd have to use your reg/cd key. You can find that in the windows registry.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProductID

If you don't feel comfortable editing the registry you can download the attached zip file and unzip it (if you don't have a zip utility you can get zipgenius, it's free). Once unzipped, run the productkey.exe file by double clicking it, it will popup your product key in a window, that's the key you'll use to reinstall windows 98.

The code inside the productkey.exe file is as so..

    Code:
    $var = RegRead("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion", "ProductID")
    MsgBox(0, "Windows 98 Product Key", $var)
I created it myself and is trusted.
