    Default Dead moniter?

I recently ran into a problem with one of my computers. While I was switching hard drives around to keep us online and running I decided to format a couple of other hard drives I had around. Everything went fine until I tried to start a spare computer up with our main hard drive. I got nothing from the moniter. I switched hard drives again and started working on the problem computer. After about two days of tinkering it dawned on me to listen to the beeps on startup. One normal, one long. I looked that up, and it was listed as a parity error. One possible solution was to remove and then replace the ram. I did this and it booted up fine. If you listen for the beeps, you might save a bench fee,or at least a couple of days tinkering.
