Default Computer won't even turn on

I turned off my computer through windows and then I moved it from one room to another (without dropping it and kicking there) and it won't turn on at all now. I really dont have any idea what is wrong with it and I am not savvy when it comes to the anatomy of a computer and whats what inside. Could it be the battery?

Do you get any indication that it is getting power? Any fans running, any lights? Some things to check: Are you sure the new outlet has power, it could be controlled by a wall switch. Check it with a lamp or radio to be sure it is working.
Is the power plug firmly inserted in the back of the computer?
Most computer power supplies have a switch that lets them change between 110 and 220 volts. Is it set right for your area (110-USA 220-Europe)?

It's the simple things that cause the biggest problems.
