    Default Norton Internet Security Query

    Hello All.
I've recently done a check on my Norton Internet Security and in the "System Status" screen, "Intrusion Detection" is now reading "off". When I click to turn on the following message come up
"Failed to save setting. Please verify that your Windows account is not restricted". When I click "OK" nothing happens or changes.
Does anyone know whats happeing here, or what I need to do??

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi, well this is what i could find below, others might have more info to be honest i know you don't want to hear this but the best thing you could do for your PC and you sanity, would be to unistall Norton and put it in the Trash can, it is a prob full stop it is bloated and over hyped.
    symantec solution below

If you do uninstall Norton make sure you go to symantec site for removal instructions for your version of Norton as it don't always uninstall correctly from the ADD/REMOVE programs.
If you do uninstall you would be much better with ZoneAlarm free Firewall and either AVG or AVAST free Anivirus

Only run 1 resident Anitvirus and 1 Firewall on your system

    ZoneAlarm Firewall

    AVAST free
