I second Bear's recommendation of www.crucial.com Good product, good price, and you'll get the right part the first time. Charlie

if you don't know what type of motherboard your running or what type of ram it is, then you can download Lavalys Everest Ultimate Edition trial here: http://www.lavalys.com/products/down...?pid=3&lang=en

this program will allow you to see exactly what is in your computer.

Cheap means cheap. Kingston is a good brand and reliable. Avoid Mitubishi like the plague.

Just to back up what Whoozhe said- You are not mass producing computers where saving a few bucks on a piece of memory will multiply into big savings. Buy good quality and your computer will be better off. Are there some good, inexpensive alternatives out there- yes, but are you going to find it on your first try? If you stick to Crucial or Kingston you will get good quality at a fair price. Charlie
