Default XP Pro Screen Of Death

after reading thro' the xp screen of death it stated

"page_fault_in_non_paged_area" (w/no particular file name given)

what makes this happen and what would help avoid it?
currently the page file is set at 512mb both min and max in a 1gb partition. (i didn't bother to remove the page file from part 2 when i didn't notice any difference between it being on part 1 either).

    wxp pro, 14.5gb, 500mhamd-k6, 192mb (w/FreeRAM XP Pro1.5)
we are created with an equal opportunity to be unequal.

I know that some articles will tell you that you get better performance from having your paging file on a different drive or partition, but it can cause more problems than it is worth. With only 192mb of RAM, your computer is going to be using the paging file often. Try putting it all on one drive and give it at least 1GB or lets Windows manage it. Charlie
