Default Immediate help needed on why my aol installation won't work.

    Hello.
I have been trying to download aol instant messenger for about one week now. I have tried downloading it on my lap top, as well as the home computer. I have tried downloading the versions for both windows 98 and xp. I get the same error when it downloads. I go to "open" or "run" and it says "cannot open, this is not a valid windows 32 application" or "unknown publisher, cannot open"
When I go to download I always click on the "upgrade" button. We recently re-formatted the home computer, so it wiped out my aol instant messaging. But this still wouldnt require me to click on the tab for new users, so I do not know what is wrong.
If you could please help, that would be great!

    Thank you!
