    Does anyone know how to block sites using FF 1.5?

    I don't know if that is possible. There might be an extension, but I didn't find one.

    Are you refering to sites that appear in your browser from nowhere or do you want to prevent someone accessing a site?
    If the first scenerio than you will need to run hijackthis and locate the offend web page hijacker. (See the Tutorials section for details on hadleing hijacks, trojans etc.
    I don't know of any free utitiles to actualy block sites but for a few $$$ you can try Block Web Site Buddy from http://www.brothersoft.com/internet/...ddy_32044.html

    No I'm clean, I want to limit access to a few sites that my kids frequent.

    I'm not aware of an extension that block whole sites, but AdBlock might do the job for you. Install the Adblock extension, then add the sites to the AdBlock filter like so:
    Code:
    *.disney.com/*
    , for instance, if you wanted to block Disney.

    Well, the kids were pretty quick to figure that one out, I tried that route before.
    But! I found some tips in blocking host files and tweaking security zones and such at Mozilla forums.
