    Default Computer Won't start

My emachine would not start. When power is connected the CPU fan does not start. I replaced the fan, same result. I noticed that CPU fan starts when I remove CPU from board. Any ideas?.

You have me confused. Just how did you get the CPU fan to work with having a CPU there. Did you really remove the Processor ?

The first thing to do when a system refuses to start listen for any beeps. They generally tell you what the problem is. If nothing at all happens then have the power supply checked and probably replaced.
There can be other causes but try that first and come back here.
