    Default keyboard issues!

Hi there! This is my first time on help2go, although I've been having problems for the last six months pretty much-mainly with my ibook (which I so regret purchasing), but also with my roommate's desktop (and printer). As I am in teachers college, I have an insane amount of things to print off each week, and now a new problem has occured with the desktop today. When you type in letters on the keyboard, they appear to be different letters on the screen. So, it is virtually impossilbe to write anything at the moment. We did not spill anything on the keyboard either. Any ideas what might be the problem? (oh, and we unplugged the keyboard and plugged it in again as well). The computer is an Optiquest. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, jen

Check your Language and Regional settings in Control Panel. Make sure they are set to your country/language.
