Hi - Have you tried 'right click' on the memory stick and 'Open'? Regards.
I know everything about nothing, nothing about everything and precious little about the bit in between.

Hi - How about rebooting both PCs, with the memory stick unplugged?
Have you tried a 'System Restore' to before this problem? Is this the first time you have tried to move MP3's to the laptop?
