Default how to set the timer in system

I am interested in setting the timer to system. I want the system to be ON or OFF at respective intervals. I would be pleased to get answer for this.

Hi geetha - I'm not sure if this is possible in Windows. An easy and cheap option would be to purchase a plug-in timer that plugs into the wall socket and then the PC plugs into that. Regards.
I know everything about nothing, nothing about everything and precious little about the bit in between.

The only way I know is probably through the use of a UPS (Unlimited Power Supply) unit.
Powering on system unattended is dangerous. If anything goes wrong you may end up with ashes.
Also it allows the machine accessible to anyone
