    Subject: HELP
hEY I NEED SOME HELP HERE BECAUSE MY PC WON'T INSTALL WINDOWS 98SE
iT BOOTS UP ONLY IN DOS and goes to C:\windows. I put in M:\setup for the drive and disk and then it says," setup cannot run from ms-dos mode with a private configuration.Either run setup from windows or shut down windows and run setup from ms-dos. But my pc doesn't even boot into windows.

I don't help people via PM, this defeats the purpose of the help group OSC started. Please ask your questions here in the computer help forum. Thanks

Either find another Win98 computer and create or download a Windows 98 Startup Disk (Floppy)
Boot up with the floppy say yes to CD support and then install from the CD.
