    Is there a way to remove old or unwanted lines in the startup tab of msconfig?

    Hi

    You might like to have a look at StartUp Control App on the following site:

    http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

    It has the facility to disable and also delete items from startup. You may wish to back up your registry before performing these tasks

    Have never used the program mentioned, but looks good. You could also try going through the registry as mentioned in this post http://www.help2go.com/component/opt...ight,msconfig/
