With Nero, you either select 'make a data CD' which will convert .wav to mp3 or 'make Audio CD'. In both cases, you must 'finilize' the recording before using it in cd players. Also, if you're saving as mp3 (data) the player must be able to play mp3s (not all players do this).

When you burn it to CD you need to make sure you burn as an audio file (as oppose to a data file).

What format have you saved it in? In Nero, when setting up, use the Audio (the music note symbol) and either select make an Audio CD or an MP3 CD (which is a data cd). Are you recording this to a DVD or a CD? Which ever, make sure you have CD/DVD selected at the top of Nero Window. When you've selected the music to copy to disk a popup window should appear (this is where you can type the name of the CD etc. On the last tab Burn there should be a check box for finalize the session .. make sure it's checked .. then Burn).

Again, if your cd player doesn't read mp3s you can only make and play Audio disks on it.

    Default wav 2 cd

    Hello again...

Have done as suggested and checked the finilize box and it still is not working on cd player....

However it does seem to have converted to .cda file instead of .wav

Do I need to format the cdrw before use or not...

Would it make a difference if i were using cdr instead of cdrw...

I believe it would make a difference. Try just a cdr.
