    Default installation

Windows XP - each time I try to install new printer I get message: "microsoft MSXML2,Version-"4.1.0.0."publickeytoken="6bd6b9abf345378f,",type = win32,processorArchitecture="x86." I have tried patch from HP for printer install - does not work. Cannot install any program. Please help. Thank you.

I take it that it has a USB connection? With USB hardware, you must first install drivers/software that comes with the hardware THEN after rebooting pc to make sure drivers are installed ,, shut PC down and Then plug in to Power and USB port on PC. Start PC and Plug & Play will detect new hardware, it may ask again for the CD that came with printer so do so.

    Keep us posted.
