Default Norton Antivirus is attacking my computer!

I completely recovered my computer to factory settings, so Norton Antivirus was put back on. I tried uninstalling it; wouldn't work. I deleted it in Program Files; yay, that worked, BUT, whenever I download anything I get messages telling me Norton can't find file "______"
    [OK]

So.. how do I completely wipe Norton from my computer?[/quote]

We are better, as we deal with real people and real time problems

Never rely on just one search engine trying to resolve a problem. The server you are accessing could be down for maintenance, etc.

I always use Google first, but I also check : http://www.alltheweb.com/
when I am looking for answers.

Thanks for the offer of a donation, all monies received are used to keep the ads sites down. While all the help is free, running the site is not
