    Default HP-1310 HPOSM Always Popping.

    I'm using a HP-1310 printer in my windows 98 and from time to time this thing pop ups.

    Hposm
    This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

    Details: HPOSM caused an invalid page fault in module OLEAUT32.dll at 017f:65352c3c.

    Guys, help please.

    Hi erice - Do you have an installation disk for this printer? If so, reinstall the software from it to your pc. Regards.

    Try the patch from http://home.comcast.net/~lyvwyre/hpcmpmgr_disable.exe

    This disables the HP Auto Update service wich can cause all sorts of problems.
    If it fails you can manually disable it by uninstalling the HP Update Service
    Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own.
