    Default COMPUTER FAN

    Good Afternoon,

I just passed by my computer and noticed that the fan on my hard drive is awfully loud....I have never noticed that before. We have been going through a heat wave the past few days, do you think that could be the problem. If not......WHAT'S WRONG? It is really making me nervous

Most PC don't have hard drive fans

Fan noise can be caused by a build of dust/dirt or failing fan bearing.

You'll need to purchase can of compressed air (found in computer section) and use it to clean the dust inside of your computer. You'll need to open your box to do this. Ground yourself - and remove the dust. Also do not spray directly on your computer parts, you don't want to damage anything in there.
