    Default Trend micro vs Panda

I currently have Trend Micros' PC-cillian Internet Security 2006. It's due to expire on 11/22/06.

Considering the current PC problem I'm having (see post called Computer randomly locks up)
    http://www.help2go.com/component/opt...topic/t,22302/

and the advice given by Zep to run both Panda Active Scan and Trend Micro Housecall as the first step in hopefully solving my problem. I was wondering if I should:
    a) renew my PC-cillion Internet Security
    b) renew and also purchase Panda's Internet Security package (I don't know if I can run both at the same time though)
    c) don't renew and just purchase Panda's Internet Security
    d) buy either program and routinely use the other company's online scan also.
    e) none of the above, get a different program altogether.

I would love to hear advice on this so that I can make sure I end up with the best protection possible for my pc.

    Thanks!

I don't know about those internet security programs. But for my virus scanner, I use AVG free.

Excellent group of free programs that keep your computer clean:
    AVG antivirus
    Zone Alarm free firewall
    Windows Defender antispyware
    SpywareBlaster antispyware
    SpyBot Search and Destroy antispyware

run only 1 antivirus and 1 firewall, but you can have multiple antispyware programs.
