    Default System Restore won't restore

I tried yesterday to use my system restore as I was having problems with an audio ASIO driver (turned out to be a loose cable) and I picked the previous date to restore to. Computer shut down, acted as if it was restoring then said that no changes were made to my computer. Now SR is on, and if I manually do a restore point then I can restore. Is there a utility to repair SR. I have no virus, spyware of any kind do to the machine not being on the internet much. Also I have NAV 2007 running constantly. Any help would be great.

If all is working well now, I suggest you turn Restore off, and then reset it. Create a new point (it should do this automatically). If you have installed Windows Defender, it should be creating RPs on a regular basis.
