    can i replace missing dll's by reinstalling windows xp,without loseing anything?

    What .dll files are you missing? We can't read minds you will need to provide more information.

    To replace or restore any missing or corrupted Windows files you can run sfc /scannow

    Do you know for a fact that the missing dll is in fact a good one? Could be a nasty(malware).

    Before accepting any error message that says a file is missing do a google on that file and check that it is indeed legitimate.
