    Default DVD playback

When trying to play any DVD on my computer I do not get a clear picture,
the colors and sharp, the edges of the figure/vharecters are unclear. The audio is excellent, It is only the video display that looks as if it were a negative of the film being displayed. I am not sure what went wrong, because all the players I have on the computer work fine with video clips from the internet.
    Any ideas?
    Thak you

You probably do not have the right codecs.
Try downloading ZoomPlayer. It is free and better than WMP. In fact any DVD player is better than Microsofts offer.
My favorite is the Core Media Player. Power DVD player comes with most drives so if you have the CD install that and use it.

VLC is an excellent player too. Plays just about anything you can throw at it.

    Hi.
    Zoom Player looks good.
Just that cannot play DVD for free.
I downloaded VLC too but cannot install it.
    File name is 'vlc-0.8.6-win32.exe'
File size is '650 bytes' only.
    Thanks anyway.
    Ni hao!
