    Default java sun - no applets

    java sun upgrade 9 doesnt seem to be working.................applets in yahoo games just dont open, can anyone help me?
    Running AVG and lava, on windows XP

    I don't know of any java 9.
    Go to Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs.
    Search for and uninstall all incidents of java.
    Go to www.java.com and download and install the latest java machine.
    Whenever updating jave uninstall the previous version first.
    Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own.

    There is now an update 10 ...

    Go to add/remove programs and uninstall any earlier versions ...

    Then You can go here and install the latest version of Java.

    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

    Scroll down the page to 'Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 10 and press the 'Download' button.
