That might be easier to answer if one knew approximately where you are located. The place where I get my Computer parts may not be available to you.

Hi - Some system details would probably help. Processor? Motherboard?
Operating System? How much RAM? Size of Hard Drive? What other Drives do you have?

You will be able to get this information by running the free download at this link -

    Regards.

You can get loads of info from http://www.tv-cards.com/
My recommendation is one with dual tuners (digital and analog)
Look for one that can save TV programs and capture video tapes as MPEG2 files or burn directly to a DVD. The latter takes away a lot of frustration.
Avoid real cheap ones like the plague.
You can also get external USB capture devices but they tend to cost more for what you get.
Many can also time shift, that is watch the beginning of a show while the rest is still recording.
You will need a direct connection to a TV aerial close by. using a long lead will mean a lower quality picture.
All should be able to capture stills as well.
Some also come with an FM radio tuner.
Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own.
