    Default floppy disks/zip files

I am trying to make boot disks. I save the zip file to a folder on my desktop, then I use an unzip program and expand the zip file in the same folder...problem is I cannot get the unzipped file to transfer to a floppy. Should I be saving the zipped file to the floppy and unzipping it there (floppy)? :?

what's happening when you try to put the file on the floppy? Are you getting errors The only person I know on this forum with psychic powers is zep

If you're just trying to make a boot disk go to http://bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm and download whichever boot floppy image you need. It'll be a .exe file that you download. Once downloaded just double click the .exe and it'll put all the files on the floppy for you, all you have to do is click.

Floppy disks are made bootable during the format process if the appropriate box is checked in the format dialog box.
After the format then copy the filed over.
