    Default System Start up

    Windows 98 SE

    I want to change the programs that load when my systems starts.
    Also tell me some more ways to make my computer boot faster.

    Goto Start > Run > type in msconfig > startup tab > uncheck boxes against the various startup programs you don't want running > OK. Reboot your PC > check box in configuration window that pops up 'do not show window again' > OK. Depending on the number of programs you stop from running, should decrease the bootup time.
