    Default Securing my wireless

I have DSL with a wireless modem. I use two laptops (with integrated wireless)for my home internet use in addition to one desktop which is plugged in with an ethernet cable (I believe that's what it is- kind of a phone cord on steroids looking thing). Anyway, I suppose this amounts to a "wireless network" dunnit? Anyway, whenever I lookup my internet connections it always lists my "wireless network" as "unsecured". It seems to me that this cannot be a good thing. I've piggybacked on other people's networks before and I don't really like the idea of someone doing it on mine. Is it easy to "secure" my network so that I'm the only person who can log on to my wireless? If it is, I'd love some advice on doing so. Thanks in advance~!!!

Hey Zep. Thanks for that, but waaaaaay over my head! Is there a "securing a wireless network" for dummies out there anywhere?

    Firehorse157,

The link may be helpful at least it shows how you access the router.
