Let us try to take it step by step.

Do you have any indication that the monitor and computer are all getting power?

When you turn the computer on, do you see a light that flashes randomly?

Do you hear and sounds from the computer when you turn it on?

Since you're able to visit here, you must have a second computer that works. Can you test the other monitor on the good computer?

If you think that is the problem, how can we assist you?

If you know how to work inside a computer, you can replace them, otherwise I'd take it to a repair center.

Assuming you have good power indication on the front of the computer:
Usually, (not always), if there is bad RAM, there will be beeps.
Usually, (not always), if there is bad video, there will be beeps.

No beeps is an indication the RAM and or video card are not the problem.

ONLY DO THESE THINGS IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED INSIDE A COMPUTER CASE!!!

Check all your connections and sockets for firm and solid fit.
Recheck operation. If nothing new, move on...

It is possible that an expansion card may be holding it down.
To check that, you open the case and remove the expansion cards (except the video card if any). If the system will power on, then you found your problem.

Try pulling the RAM strips and see if you get any beeps when you turn it on.
Try pulling the Video card (is any) and see if you get any beeps.
Beeps is a preliminary indication tha the motherboard MAY be ok.

If not, the problem is most likely the Motherboard or the processor.
The most effective way to check is to swap out a known good CPU with the current one. If it works, then the problem is the CPU. If not, you know at least the Motherboard is bad and possibly both.

unless you're confident you know what you're doing at this point, I would take it to a repair center.

If you have no power indication on the front of the computer at all, the problem may well be the power supply. YOu can swap it with a good one to see if it works.

What do you mean no sound?

If you are talking about the beeps I mentioned, the beeps come from the motherboard and would be like beep, beep, pause, beep, beep.
    Or other patterns.

What do you mean you tried it on another computer?
Tried what on another computer? The speakers?

NO, that is not the source of the sound, the beeps I refer to will come from the motherboard itself, and wil ONLY come from it in the event of an error condition such as BAD RAM, BAD VIDEO, etc.

I'm getting the feeling that you should stop here, and take it to a repair center.
