    Default Geforce 7600 connector thing

I've decided i want to use my second monitor with my pc but when i went to hook it up to the second port i discovered that i needed an adapter. My problem is that i don't know what sort of adapter this is so i hope you might be able to help.

The connector is a 15 pin regular monitor to something else it has

    .. ........
    - ........
    .. ........

Looks something like this, thats 4 pins on the left a big pin in the middle left and 24 pins on the right. What is the name of this thing so i can buy one?

Looks like your card has a DVI connector - these are digital connections that are standard on most new PCs and graphics cards these days.

Scroll down to the Connector section of the article above - it has a graphic of the various connections. By your illustration, my guess is that you have a DVI-I connector, which is the standard. You should be able to find an adapter pretty easily.

One thing you may want to consider is that these connectors may be there as a "one or the other" connection type, and may not work both together.

Perhaps the model no of your graphics card would be helpful, or a quick check in your documentation to ensure dual monitor compatibility before spending cash would be advisable...
