    Startled you awake?

try 1am browsing on a cold winters night, after the kids had been watching a film via the laptop without your knowledge and turned on full blast the otherwise muted speakers, JUST as your peering closer at a new pair of trainers on e-bay the other half knows nothing about....

Check my shorts?? Try "would sir like some toilet paper with that!"
    Always remember you're unique.

    ...Just like everyone else!
If your problem is solved, here's how to say thanks!

Hi all, I'm currently running AVG which has been a bit of a pain recently. Seeing all the recommendations for Avast, I'd like to switch - should I uninstall AVG or can I have them both to be extra safe?

    Thank you.

You should only have one active anti-virus program on a system at a time. If you have more then one it can cause conflicts with each other and give false postives.

    Same with Firewalls too.

Steph, download Avast Home Edition Free to your desktop. Then go off the internet and uninstall AVG. If you have any problems use Revo Uninstaller or Windows installer Clean Up. Try first through Add and Remove to uninstall AVG.
