    SP2---> an update to Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.

    Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista

    Hopefully they've improved it since the Release Candidate version. That was far from perfect and certainly NOT a candidate for release.

    What am I saying? This is Microsoft! Duh!

    Is this the same as the SP2 update that is lingering in limbo in my Update Center that was published on 4/28/09???? It says 2007 Microsoft(R) Office Suite Service Pack 2. Not the same is it? This (above) is updated version????

    The service pack your seeing is the Microsoft Office service pack, this one is for the actual operating system.

    Thanks for the confirmation. I see that "Office" is the difference. Right? Whole different program altogether.
