    ...in a Windows 7 world

    I want to stay with XP as long as I can.

    We'll be running XP in SP2 mode until the end of 2010, as are many other organisations. The lack of Microsoft support of XP is of no consequence, we know enough about it to fix pretty well anything without MS's help.

    That said, from a personal point of view, I'll be running Win7 on 2 of my own machines. I'm currently running Win7 RC which is extremely good with only a few niggles, but hopefully they'll be sorted out in the RTM version.

    There are even rumours that MS have decided to allow direct upgrades from XP to Win7, but we'll see.

    I must admit, i like the look of win7, but i'm put off by my experience with vista, and i like XP as i am learning more daily about its running.

    I still think i'll grab a copy though, just to test it out

    Windows 7 is great I like everything about it, installed it Evaluation copy. Build 7100 and have never rebooted back to vista.
