    it 'looks' very handy!

I could see this becoming an everyday use tool, if it is as good as it looks...

If you suspect you have trouble with your Hardware > run the following tool just created by jpshortstuff, Malware Expert.

You maybe getting help on a forum and find the Volunteer asks you to do the following:

We need to check out your devices. Please download DevDiag and save it to your Desktop:

DevDiag.exe -> Tech Support Tools -> Downloads (WTT Download Page) (recommended)
    http://jpshortstuff.247fixes.com/DevDiag.exe (Direct Download)

If you are using Vista or Windows 7, please right-click DevDiag.exe and select Run As Administrator. Otherwise, simply double-click the program to run it. At the options screen, please type 2 and click Enter. The tool will take a few moments to scan. When finished, a report should pop-up, also available on your Desktop (DevDiag.txt). Please do not copy/paste the report into your next reply. Instead, Attach it by clicking Add Reply, and scrolling down to the Attachments section.

Obviously change 2 to whatever you want if otherwise.

Thank you jpshortstuff for your great diagnostic tool
    See what you think.

    kind regards,

    Tallin,
Thanks for bringing SINO to attention on this forum

MrDarn (and everyone else for that matter),
I'd love to answer any questions you might have and listen to any feedback regarding the program. This program is meant to help all techies, and feedback from these techies have made SINO what it is now. Please do not hesitate to let me know your thoughts.

    Regards,

It's a tool to diagnose problems regarding the Device Manager.
I would say, download it and give it a go. The tool (DevDiag, short for Device Diagnostics) won't alter anything on your machine.

    Olrik

I actually quite like this program, but it does create a HUGE startup file (too big to post) and i'd be wary of some of the information it creates to post, such as Physical Addresses in the IPConfig setting.

Also, the console auto-exits, which i like the idea of when an OP is using it, but it annoyed me when i was testing it one section at a time!

Also, the program appears to hang when scanning for the bigger logs, causing me to force it closed the first time. perhaps some sort of progress bar would be the only change i'd make.

I do like this tho, and probably will use it for those posters that just dont have a clue how to find certain info.

That is fine, pleased to do it Artellos. Welcome here to Help2Go by the way.

Thanks you also for replying to Mr Darn's query regarding DevDiag.exe by ipshortstuff. I have now added detailed instructions from ipshortstuff's original post.

Both tools are very useful, perhaps too much information in yours for some to digest. I agree with Mr Darn regarding:
perhaps some sort of progress bar would be the only change i'd make.
Good to see you here, come back soon and throw your hand in on some of the posts.

    best regards,
