Default Problems with Firefox accessing sites

I've noticed recently that loading sites in Firefox has become slower and slower to the point of having to restart the program. In my journeys to find a solution, I came upon this fix (although it's not the cause of my problem).

I also had issues with that and the Firefox has stopped working message. I ended up reinstalling it so far so good. There was also some sort of update yesterday to Firefox. Now running at version /3.5.7.

I got the update! Update informer interrupted my browsing travels! How dare they! Life came to a screeching halt!!
Other than that, I haven't had any problems, so far, since the updated version installed. So, we'll see.

If you think you might be infected with malware or have recently cleansed your computer of malware without the help of an expert, please read and follow the instructions in How to Start Removing Viruses and Spyware from your Computer. This can alleviate time consumed in trouble shooting your current computer problems.

If your problem is solved, here's how to say thanks!
