Would it worth a try to run the browsers in windows Safemode??????

not sure if you saw this above Safemode with networking maybe???

I am have what seem to be the same issue as above.

sorry for the jump straight in with both feet but i am very frustrated with my main laptop at the moment no IE8. it just starts to open and then shuts down.

Please don't add your problem to someone else's thread. It gets very complicated and confusing. As much as you think you have the same problem, it's probable that you don't.

You have malicious entries in your HJT log, so try pasting into the H2G Detective and follow the instructions.

Next download and install, using default settings, the free version of MalwareBytes and run it's updater. Then run a system scan. Post a copy of the logfile, together with a fresh HiJackThis log, back to this thread for examination. If you have no internet connection, run as is.

We'll get your posts moved to their own thread asap.
