    Hi,
do you need me to rerun other tools?
No. Thank you for responding in such a timely manner..

Always wanted to visit Texas !

My sister lived in Houston for 8 years

    Lets run this tool.

Download TFC by OldTimer http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe to your desktop.

    Double-click TFC.exe to run it.

Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator

TFC will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.

    * Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process.
    * Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two.
    * Please let TFC run uninterrupted until it is finished.

Once TFC is finished it should restart your computer. If it does not, please manually restart the computer yourself to ensure a complete cleaning.

After all the temp files are cleaned out, do the Systemlook again.

    Here's the latest Look...
Texas is a great state. I was relocated here 11 years a ago. Took awhile to adjust but I love it now. Where are you located?

    Hi,

I'm in Steeler country, Pittsburgh, Pa. Western Pennsylvania.

    Just a few questions
    2013-12-05 12:07 - 2013-12-05 12:07 - 00000000 ____D C:\ProgramData\REGSERVO
    Task: {BF64506F-6B36-4A9E-AE05-836119F0EF3C} - System32\Tasks\RegCure Pro => C:\Program Files\ParetoLogic\RegCure Pro\RegCurePro.exe
Those lines are from your log, they appear to be left over registry cleaners, did you unistall them? because they don't show in the program list
We should not use registry cleaners ever, as they can cause more problems then they resolve.

The other item I was curious about is it looks like you ran combofix at one time. Do you remember doing that? Is there a log from it ?

    and

You're still getting the home page redirect msn?

    Thanks
    Joe

Hi Joe, I have attempted so many fixes that I'm sure I did run combofix in the past. Is there a file name I can look for to add to a reply? At one time I was using a registry cleaner so that should explain the log files.
It's a small world Joe I have a daughter/son in law and grandbabies who live in PA, Steeler country. I rebooted this morning and did not get the alert to allow a home page change. Hoooray my friend. Thank you so much and if I need to do more for housekeeping let me know......working with you was a rewarding experiance. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas.
